Free Agent, the private career platform for current and former athletes, has partnered with U Sports, Canada's national governing body for university sport, to connect student-athletes and alumni across its 58 member universities to jobs, brand partnerships, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities.
U Sports student-athletes and alumni can now claim a verified profile on Free Agent and join a private network of athletes across every level of sport, from conference standouts to professional and Olympic-level competitors. From there, they can connect with companies looking to hire athlete talent and access paid opportunities that extend beyond the field of play.

Starting July 22, 2026, student-athletes, coaches, and alumni across U Sports' member schools can claim a verified profile and connect with thousands of current and former athletes already on Free Agent.
Free Agent is invite-only and fully verified, built for athletes who value discretion, and for the trust it takes to turn a career in sport into what comes next.
